March is national frozen food month

It's national frozen food month and almost everything is on sale. My favorite buy today at Winco was Birdseye steam fresh vegetables for .98 cents. Normally almost $2. Even frozen food is cheaper than going through the drive thru!

Free CPR class

On March 19, 2011, the Red Cross is offering free one-hour CPR classes in more than 100 locations across the nation. These classes are usually $25, but are being offered free for one day only.

Just goes to show what you can make with a small amount of groceries. One of the things I found interesting when I visited Europe is that they only make enough for the meal so you aren't tempted to eat to much or have leftovers you end up throwing away.
