New spending plan for 2011

I started working on a new spending plan for 2011. Thanks to Dave Ramsey's class financial peace university I have some new ideas for the coming year. I helped a friend of mine do this for the first time. It took us hours to construct it but when we were done we figured out we could meet all her financial goals for the year in 7 months, pay off a third of her debts, and take a wonderful vacation. I felt so encouraged after helping my friend that it renewed my own excitement over building a new budget for myself. So if you haven't done one for yourself yet, what are you waiting for?
