Did you know that if the store has an offer of buy one item get one item free, and you have a coupon B1G1F that you can use the coupon and basically pay nothing for either item? (except sales tax of course) I went to Rite Aid the other day where they had Herbal Essence shampoo on sale B1G1F. I had a coupon for B1G1F so that was cool. I also had a coupon to get a free styler with purchase of the shampoo and a $1 off coupon for shampoo. So I got all 4 items free making it a $1 profit at this point. Many stores will allow you to use a coupon with a B1G1F coupon because essentially the B1G1F coupon is redeemed for the free item, and you can legally use a cash off coupon for the item you are buying to legitimize the other coupon. So you have one coupon for each item which it totally within the rules. Some stores don't allow it because they interpret it as trying to use 2 coupons for one item so it just depends on where you go. Most drug stores do this with no problem. Rite Aid specifically states in their policy they will accept B1G1F coupons on their B1G1F sales. Read the policy here.
Did you know Winco has turkeys for 31cents a pound if you buy $50 worth of groceries? Best price I have seen so far. Oh, and if you are buying a turkey over
16lbs you are paying more per pound as the bones start to weigh more than the meat. It may be better to purchase 2 smaller turkeys instead of one big one.
