Free camps

Mayor's Friendship Camp

This Camp promotes unity and diversity through building friendships among kids throughout the greater Fresno area. Participating children take part in activities and games as well as camping over night at Camp Fresno Jr. The camp is open for kids in 5th grade through 8th grade. The camp takes place every May.

Nature Camps: (Roeding\Woodward Parks)

These camps engage youth in the conservation of our environment through active games and interactive lessons. This week long day camp takes place at both Roeding and Woodward Parks separately each year following the end of the school year. Each camp welcomes kids aged 8-13. Camp hours are 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., Monday through Friday every June.

Sports Camp: (Roeding\Woodward Parks)

These camps focus on non-traditional sports. Participants are introduced to sports that they may not have the opportunity to play in the past. This week long day camp takes place at both Roeding and Woodward parks separately each year followoing the end of hte school year. Each camp is free and welcomes kids aged 8-13. Camp hours are 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., Monday through Friday every June.
